Prologue:

El año pasado decidí viajar con EVA a HKG y este segmento es el primer vuelo de mi regreso a SFO.

Tomé el HK Airport Express al aeropuerto, que es la forma más rápida y conveniente de viajar entre la ciudad y el aeropuerto.

Mostradores de EVA.

De los 3 salones de Star Alliance en HKG UA es es el más grande.

Interior.

El buffet consistía en platos fríos y calientes bar de ensaladas estación de fideos y sopa.

Avión en la puerta.

El embarque comenzó y se respetaron las prioridades de los diferentes grupos.

Distancia entre asientos.

Al principio me senté en la fila 23 pero cuando vi que la segunda fila estaba vacía le pedí a la FA que cambiara y ella me dio su aprobación una vez que el abordaje terminó. Me senté en un asiento al lado de la ventana.

Avistamiento de aviones durante el rodaje.

Despegue.

Pedí una comida especial y solo VGML estaba disponible. La merienda consistía en bocadillos con encurtidos chinos. Bleh! Una instancia en la que la comida de fusión no funcionó.

Navegando.

Cabina.

Llegando a TPE.

Creo que estamos usando un estacionamiento remoto.

Último vistazo a la cabina.

Visité el salón de TG al mismo tiempo.

El interior era más "colorido" que el de UA.

Summary:

Este fue un vuelo corto y agradable, pero se pudo servir una mejor comida de abordo. Creo que el resto de los pasajeros recibieron algunos pasteles y rebanadas de pastel como la merienda regular.

Yes, it's me Icare... I destroyed it. Without any possibility to rebuild it. I am V13 now:))

HKG lounges are interesting : with a high-standart-level when they were built. Not sure they make some progress.
I prefer this return flight. Less "lost in translation";)
Beautiful aerial views from airport and Hong kong during take off. you were lucky.

Change is good. ;)

Overall the lounges @ HKG are good. For *A the SQ lounge lacks windows so no views. TG one is small and the shower is inside the WC. UA is the best for a change.

The Oneworld lounges on the other hand are just great with the CX and QF ones.

I guess it pays to seat by the window when you arrive or leave from HKG.

A good short flight with a light meal but better than BA ?
Is the J cabin with recliner seats or the same as in y cabin?

Any free food is better than paid I guess. ;)

J cabin on this A321 consists of 2 rows with 8 seats in total and they are bigger recliner seats.

Always enjoy visiting the lounges @ HKG. I'm known for lounge hopping at another site and someone there called one of my reports a "lounge FR" :P
