Prologue:

Very pleased to finally sharing my first FR here.
This flight on SAS is a preach and my birthday wish (spending half day in Stockholm) as we travel the D day.
And SAS is my Madeleine of Proust, 51 years ago I became an avgeek because of this airline on the reversed route.
This FR is dedicated to my husband and travel companion for 30 years who accept most of my avgeek fly routing.

After two hours our favorite terminal at CDG is in sight!

8h15 check in no one in the priority lane and only a few queuing for coach.

Our way to the Shengen satellite n°7 and the SAS lounge. Unfortunately we found the doors closed the lounge only open 30 minutes before our boarding time!

10:02 am we are on board priority boarding respected.

11:00 am Hot towel 11:10 lunch not exactly J setting but choice of hot bread drink (only water for me) and the iconic SAS cube which is always good and very fresh.

Summary:

SAS plus, a good product globally even if not at the level of European business class in general.
The seat on the Neo is identical to many of its competitors, slim, hard and not really comfortable after two hours.
Catering can be a little bit limited but offers the advantage of its freshness and plunge us immediately in the Scandinavian gastronomy.
A good flight especially for 230€ AR at the front. With the huge advantage of earning more miles than on other star airlines as a Skrisflyer member.

Tu quittes un A380 de QR pour revoir un 777 de QR !! Merci Eric pour ce premier TR. Un peu surpris de la collation. Ton mari est bien compréhensif. Ma femme l'est moins. Elle a du mal a concevoir de toujours être en l'air !

Oui , les avis sont très partagés il me semble sur le concept de catering de SAS, c'est bon mais il est vrai quel'on peut s'en lasser.
Sa compréhension à des limites surtout quant je lui fais passer 24h dans un avion et 3 stop au lieu de 8 !

visiblement c'est la politique SAS car à Stockholm idem, ouverture une avant le premier vol et fermeture après le dernier. Mais quant tu es sur le premier avec le début du boarding tu perd 3O minutes.
Ceci dit au satellite il doit faire 60m2 avec prestation très très minimaliste le LH à coté c'est Byzance!

Même si d'autres compagnies font mieux, le produit proposé par SK reste correct.
J'ai déjà été en Norvège et en Finlande, mais jamais en Suède, il faut que je remédie à cela !

Je ne suis pas impartial concernant la Suède pay s de mon enfance mais oui à visiter au printemps et en hiver surtout, rien de plus beau que le soleil couchant en Janvier sur les toits de Stockholm!

Welcome and thank you for sharing your first TR. SK has a very unique concept and the presentation of the meal corresponds to the minimalism that Scandinavian design is famous for. The chocolate at the end of the meal is a nice touch. As Emile has said it is pretty unbelievable that the lounge is closed for a flight and only opens 30 min. before boarding.

Hello Eric et bienvenue à bord!
Merci pour ce TR qui permet de découvrir un produit peu reporté et assez méconnu... et pour cause! Entre un salon qui n’ouvre pas suffisamment tôt pour accueillir ses propres pax et une prestation à bord qui ferait passer la box de KL pour de la gastronomie! Franchement décevant...
