Prologue:
Après avoir atterri de Charlotte avec AA dans la matinée, j’ai du temps pour profiter ou non du salon.En sortant de vol vol en 737 je tombe sur ce bel avion.
Lors de mon embarquement on me donnera une BP.
Mon triple 7 pour rejoindre Le Caire.
Je connais bien ce siège qui n'est pas hyper confortable.
J'avais le 12K mais comme la première rangée était occupée ils m'ont demandé si je voulais déménager.
J'ai de la place
Jus de pomme pour moi.
Le menu du soir.
C'est très bon et frais.
Le plat était excellent malgré la présentation et la viande superbement cuite.
Temps de dormir.
Je n'ai pas très faim.

J'ai passé la nuit au Le Méridien payé par MS avant une correspondance le lendemain.
Le salon ferme de midi à 14h
J'aime bcp la lumière aui se dégage.
2 pc au besoin
Pour nos amis végétariens il y a de quoi faire.
Plus de sièges au fond du salon
Les chaises pour se détendre.
A midi je quitte le salon et je profite des 2 heures pour admirer les différents avions.

De nouveau pas encore de chaud.
L'eau était tiède.
Le buffet chaud arrive c'est décevant.

Summary:
Salon; une heure avant votre vol est amplement suffisant.Vol: La nourriture était le point + de mon voyage avec un excellent équipage, ils me connaissaient depuis que nous avons fait le CAI-JFK ensemble.

ReplyFor a lounge that is associated with an European airline it sure is disappointing. The arrangement and presentation of the food is not the best and what's up with all those breads stuck together in the plastic bin?
MS might have its positive side but the J cabin is not one of them in my opinion. From the seats to the design of the menu and everything in between there is a lack of polish and sophistication that one associates with a premium cabin. The amenity kit doesn't look very durable and might not last after a couple of uses. One thing that I love is the livery and I'm glad to see that it is featured prominently in the mug and blanket. Very few airlines do that these days.
Catering is not well presented but you said that it was delicious so that is a plus. Also a good crew can make up for many shortcomings and it's reassuring to see that at least the staff extends to the pax the famous hospitality of its host country.
Despite all that if the price is good and MS gives you an advantageous return in terms of miles and benefits then this makes MS worth trying.
