Prologue:
After landing from Charlotte with AA in the morning I have countless time to enjoy or not the lounge.As soon as I left the 737 from AA I see this nice aircraft.
Upon boarding I will be given a real one
My 77W bound to CAI
A well known seat by now..
I had the 12K but since the first row was occupied they asked my if I wanted to move.
Plenty of legroom
Apple juice for me
The menu for tonight
It's very good and fresh.
Believe it or not that dish was just excellent despite the look. Perfectly cooked meat.
Time to rest.
I'm not that hungry.
Lol
I spent the night in Le Méridien paid my MS before y connecting flight the next day.
The lounge is closed from noon to 2pm
I love the natural light coming through

Summary:
Lounge; one hour before your flight is more than enough.Flight: The food was the highlight of my trip with a great crew, they knew me since we did the CAI-JFK together.

ReplyFor a lounge that is associated with an European airline it sure is disappointing. The arrangement and presentation of the food is not the best and what's up with all those breads stuck together in the plastic bin?
MS might have its positive side but the J cabin is not one of them in my opinion. From the seats to the design of the menu and everything in between there is a lack of polish and sophistication that one associates with a premium cabin. The amenity kit doesn't look very durable and might not last after a couple of uses. One thing that I love is the livery and I'm glad to see that it is featured prominently in the mug and blanket. Very few airlines do that these days.
Catering is not well presented but you said that it was delicious so that is a plus. Also a good crew can make up for many shortcomings and it's reassuring to see that at least the staff extends to the pax the famous hospitality of its host country.
Despite all that if the price is good and MS gives you an advantageous return in terms of miles and benefits then this makes MS worth trying.
