Prologue:
After an incoming flight so and so, I wonder how will be the return. For those who did not read the first report it isapart of a AMS ZUR EZE ticket bought about one year ago for about 1.300 US $
I was hoping to provide you a report about the new unique departure hall in EZE. Thus a deadly (1+) working accident early in september leaded to a stop in the works and opening is delayed. Therefore the access to the terminal is a big mess and I needed nearly more time to be driven from EZE's entry to terminalA than from Obelisco to EZE's entry But due to a moussoon type weather I stayed in the"remis"! I did the checking with a person who was trying to make me turn to the english locuter that I am not.. thusI answered obviously in "porteno". Hadshort time to spend hereto drink a coffee. Usually this chain isexpensive surprisingly (especialy for an airport) it is quite reasonable an usually not crowded.
Quite a long queue in security controls as there was only one line out of three opened. Terminal A don't have any priority lane for business pax or CIP people only one for pregnant elder diplomats crew ...
The Washington imposed bodyscan is nearly never utilised! Luckily "migraciones" where less crowded and finally it tooks me15-20 minutesto be airside. Not so bad for once!
So chic !
So chic ! #2
LHR?...
Or LGW ?
Best ever flamenco guitarist true or untrue?
Who care for a 7 hours B737 flight?
It was the day of the announce that IAG isabout to buy UX. Personaly I believe Brussel won't agree.
Hasta la Victoria secret
So pub for VW with this children trolleys. Funny facts: - there is a post "doors don't open" ( I believesome narrow minded musculous tried to open them...). - people use them as bag's trolley !
Feathered snake
I never saw such an huge queue for incoming "migraciones" if you know EZE you will understand
Nothing to write home about it. If interested see - https://www.youtripreport.com/reportdetails?Id=1177 (mine) - https://www.youtripreport.com/reportdetails?Id=1171 (Thomas')
A sentence from the first argentine guy I met about 45 years ago. Curously he was married with a french gal from St Pierre (the north américan french's confetti south of Newfoundland).
Boarding at 12.05 on BP strangely annouced at 12.00 by the chechin girl... On my way thisA330 due to depart to Madrid.
Papa Zoulou is shy
Pilatus also
Macri won't be there for the inauguration!
Livery made in an primary school
"Pilatus" is realy shy
12.10 still nothing I had to wait till 12.25
Finally PapaZoulou
Gladto be sure about it!
I hated the almonds
Oxygen. "My" rack was crowded due to some bag with airplane's stuff
Albacete herre I am!
Menuhere also nothing to write home about .
Same wine list than the incoming flight
Very few non US films (here it'san exception). The best page was swiss made films: result: one
Push back with half an hour delay and slow taxi (traffic jam lol)
LXsecurity demonstration
Surprisingly my very young neighbour is not attached with mum!
Take off from therenoved 17/35
Lt Gal Riccheri Highway leading to city center
Amuse gueule: artichoke (leaves) pesto tomato pine pinions. The italian white wine is better than the swiss'sone tested for the inflight.
No rose for the Ché!
Free range local shrimps goodas usual. Mango-papaya "mesclun" was disapointing. So wasthe"seasonal" salad.
Beef filet excellent on the legumes side it was so and so.
The crew worried about the steak cooking. For my taste it was realy fine.
Cheese from Leyzin not bad Swiss camembert was mediocre and it's boring as for 6 LX WK long haul flights in one year it's allwayst hesame cheese selection
Disapointing symphonie of desserts asyou can only choose one from two cakes (this one supposed from dulcede lecche but realy poor tasting) strawberry mousse or fruits salad. No offer for somemore. I afford a Bailey's and then remove thestuff from the table in order to start the nap that will be my night (landing at 2.00AM argentinian time).
When I woke up the stuff jherstill there. Thisseat 11K has a large "feet box" but is quite narrow I wasnotableto fit my shoulders in when it goes to lye flat". About the "midnight buffet" it was poor quite an AirFrance Y one! Biscuits fruits micro Toblerone...
Wake-up orange juice.
The brioche is a must. Once again cheese and cold meat were so andso.
Wehadto make some christianas upon arrival.
Then we disambark at gatesD First time andI hope last time. A full mess. Then opened first the door 1L leaving the Y+ passengers free (When converting from LX to WK they removed the F class and some J seats and installed in the nose of the plane an Y+ class! Therefore a passport control in the jetty. And then security and border controls were crowded with people from east asia with huge quantities of hand lugage. Thirty minuts to ensure this. Then walk to gateA. All this cumulated with the delay of the plane when you had initially 70 minuts for your connection!
Silent bonus
If you don't want to drink don't but don't discourage (the others).
Miles and More's beer ?

Merci JErome pour ce retour. Le bœuf semble très bon. JE connais bien ce salon en effet. Sympa ton bonus :)

A bientôt !
Nice one, thanks for writing this!
Hola amigo,
Thanks for sharing this nice TR. For that price I think that I can put up with any deficiencies or imperfections from the airline. :P My trip from SFO-CDG in Premium Econ was a bit less than what you paid so don't feel so bad. ;)
Looks like long lines at EZE is a fact that every traveler should confront whether leaving or arriving. As for the lounges I don't think they have been good at any Latin American airport from my travel experiences but it seems that this is changing.
For a Swiss carrier I think more can be expected but the value for the ticket is good.
Great bonus of the "parrillada".
Always a pleasure to read your TR's.
Lamentablemente debido a algunas persecuciones me parece que voy a parar mis publicaciones!
