Prologue:

Bienvenido al regreso de mi vuelo de GRU-SDU.

Este fue un viaje de un día y después de almorzar con mis amigos estos me dejaron en el aeropuerto y tuve unos 45 minutos. para tomar mi vuelo

Traté de registrarme en el quiosco y una vez más recibí un mensaje de error así que hablé con un agente en la línea del mostrador e inmediatamente me llevó al frente donde otro agente me emitió mi tarjeta de embarque y me dijo que corriera hacia la puerta de embarque. Había 2 personas delante de mí en seguridad y afortunadamente pasé rápidamente. En el otro lado hubo un ligero cambio de puerta pero en realidad no hay puentes aéreos asi que me coloqué en la puerta designada y cuando era hora de abordar simplemente uno camina hacia su avión en la pista.

Finalmente se nos permitió caminar sobre la pista para abordar nuestro avión. Me di el gusto de tomas unas fotos de las aeronaves.

Una sonriente azafate med dió la bienvenida abordo y me instalé en mi asiento. Una vez más no hay mucho en el bolsillo del asiento excepto la tarjeta de seguridad. Pronto apareció mi vecino pero este vuelo no estaba lleno y había filas vacías detrás. Él no se movió y yo tampoco me molesté.

Cabina.

Después de que todos abordaron uno de los pasajeros se movió a la fila delante de mí que se consideraba Espaço Azul. Hay 22 de estos asientos en la flota E190 y la distancia entre asientos es de 33.85 pulgadas o 86 cm. El jefe de cabina conversó con él y el pasajero se acomodó en su asiento asignado con un vecino. Es bueno ver que el personal hace el esfuerzo para preservar la integridad de esta cabina.

Despegue.

Se tomaron las ordenes de bebidas y luego se anunciaron las opciones de bocadillos. Esta vez quería algo dulce así que elegí unas galletas de guayaba.

No utilicé el sistema de entretenimiento ya que no se proporcionaron auriculares. Dimos unas vueltas sobre la ciudad y finalmente descendimos a SDU. Estaba oscuro y lluvioso pero pude ver el Centro.

El capitán junto con el sobrecargo estaban en la puerta despidiéndose de los pasajeros y agradeciéndoles por volar con Azul.

El interior del jetbridge tenía algunos anuncios de fútbol. Futbol es el rey en este país.

Un mural del Sr. Santos-Dumont cuyo nombre se utilizó para nombrar este aeropuerto.

Summary:

Otro vuelo plaentero con AD con un equipo eficiente y una selección de refrigerios gratis.

Lástima que no pudiera apreciar el descenso completo a SDU debido a la lluvia pero al menos pude ver el centro y es impresionante estar tan cerca de la ciudad. Quizás tendría más suerte en un futuro viaje..

I think it might have to invest in a new set of earphones but at the same time I hate to add that extra weight in my carry on. Decisions decisions....

Yes Azul is considered low cost in Brazil but also is perceived as a great value airline. Think of it as the "Jetblue" of Brazil if you will.
