Prologue:

Another flight with BA, another BoB service, another “nothing to write home about” but before the flight we have a lounge to review one more time.

Arriving from Dublin I have more than 6 hours to spare. Well 6h in on the of the best First Class lounge in LHR not a worst place to be. Security was done quickly with the fast track.

The lounge is bright and well appointed. I love the view on the runway.

You have the fridge close to the buffet. See two examples inside. One from beg of jan and the one from end of jan.

I took the delicious soya satay.

On another quick visit where no report will be made I took enough salmon to piss off James ! Lol

Eventually it was time to leave the lounge and board. The Flight was once again full. Not a surprise to see BA adding another flight to MRS. Now there is 4 daily flights. The last flight added will provide much better connection potential.

Since there is a BoB I grabbed a drink from the lounge. It me it would have made sense for Gold to get free drink.

Summary:

CX is a fantastic lounge to be for a great meal. BA remains a low-cost carrier on the service level in Y. I don’t see the value versus Ryanair.

    Superbe salon. Et la vue sur la piste est, pour moi, nettement un plus.
    A bord, c'est vrai qu'ils pourraient quand même servir de l'eau pour les humains !
    4 vols par jours..Les marseillais se mettent à l'anglais !
