Prologue:
Nothing is more important than family. We were 10 days away from Christmas. I was hoping to fly either Lufthansa or Swiss to Paris via Zurich or Frankfurt.I was happy to find 2 seats available in First Class. I used my Lufthansa account to burn my miles.
The plane was still the airbus A340. Bear in mind today you have the new Boeing 77W.
After a quick check-in we went straight to United lounge.

My wife enjoyed the Laurent-Perrier grand siecle.

While my wife surprised me and picked the Ravioli with a delicious truffle sauce.
A standard salad.
My wagyu beef was amazing.

My wife's choice : Banana crumble with lemon ice cream
While I had my macaron. One word : WOW !
My neighbor is going to bed.
And so do I !
I slept like a rock for 8 hours !
My breakfast quickly arrived after I woke up ! My wife is still sleeping...
The very light meal from Zurich to Paris.

Summary:
Where to start... I'm sharing my wife's view and I.Cabin : While the cabin is clearly outdated, the seat remains good enough to sleep. The IFE is definitely a no-no. Thanks god I have my laptop !
Crew : They were just great. One of the western crew spoke Chinese to my wife. She was pleased.
Food : We were both struck by the quality.
Looking forward to trying the new Swiss Boeing 77W in First.
