Prologue:
My annual leaves started on this Thursday, May, 9, 2019. Going to France to attend my sister's wedding and introduce my gf to my family.I decided to try AF for this flight in J-cabin. I chose a day-flight on purpose to try the new cabins "design by", in 1-2-1 instead of the 2-2-2 from the A380.
My last flights to France were with China Eastern Airlines and Vietnam Airlines, which will allow me to compare the different services.
Going to the dedicated area for AirFrance in the terminal 1 of Pudong Airport
We received the invitation to reach the lounge
Fast lane for the security check. I also registered for the e-channel in China so it took me literally 10sec to pass the border =)

Air France and JAL have a dedicated lounge in the terminal one (No39) next to CEA lounge
Visit from the inside
The offer of F&B is far to be perfect we only got a choice of noodles or dumplings
You have a choice of newspaper in different languages
I find this lounge cosy!
To clean your shoes before the departure!
You can store your personal belongings in the different locked rooms
Shower rooms were locked and required the assistance from the staff so no pictures from inside
The staff brought us some potatoes with AF written on it! no no no i didn't write it myself ! i swear it!
The best part of the lounge! 30min relaxing!
Direction to the plane by bus. Without any reasons J and Y share the same bus while usually J class has a dedicated bus

A hanger is waiting for our clothes in our seat. Within a second the FA is available for us to store our clothes and start chatting a little with us

The big plus of AF is the diversity of the entertainment in French so that's great for kids/family. I started a Holliwood movie in French but after a few minutes i switches into English voices are better!

Summary:
Wonderful flight with AF.They remain in the top for their quality of service. The flight attendant was wonderful and professional. She was even available to talk and discuss about her work and our passions to travel.
Our plane didn't get the Wi-Fi on board. I'll try it next time!

ReplyBeau TR mon cher Antoine. Avoir le 1-2-1 etait un bon choix. On s'habitue vite a voyager a l'avant ! Le repas donne envie. Pas de wifi ? On devient tous accro ! A+ pour d'autres YTR.

Un salon pas mal du tout au départ avec une offre complète et une très bonne prestation en vol, voilà de quoi très bien commencer les vacances!

Dans la catégorie néo-vintage ce salon:)) J'ai bien failli donner ma langue au chat ! Heureusement que tu nous a mis la photo de l'aspirateur-balai.
A bord, c'est du très haut niveau. Comme seule Air France sait le faire. Quelques coupelles et la présentation du 2ème plat pourraient être plus réussies. Rien de bien méchant en tout cas.
