Prologue:
My final destination is Kuala Lumpur.Booking less than 2 weeks out, I decided to fly Qatar from Cairo to enjoy a sweet fare.
But first I need to go to Cairo.
My first choice was Turkish Airlines. However at more than 600 Euros I decided to fly LH.
Let's see if I made the right choice...
I flew from Marseille. No report will be made. Here is my boarding pass.
Let's go to the lounge. Last time I came here was in 2013. I was not expecting much aside from eating the pretzel !
Tables and at the end the "buffet"...
I wanted to charge my phone but I had troubles finding a working plug..

Boarding was done quickly even with the full flight.
Not a bad legroom for my next 4 hours.
The meal.. Them break it down : - The salad was bland - the tomato sauce was so acid At the end I did not eat.

Summary:
Where to start...Lounge :
- While the design is fine, the buffet is not even near acceptable factoring it's supposed to be better than the regular business lounge.
- Crew : Cold, I was upset after being hit on my right arm once more by the "running FA or the trolley"
- Food : Well, I might me picky but when I see what TK gives you, it put the European carriers to shame.
The fare paid was about 300 euros so I won't complain much.
