Prologue:
I bought a ticket from Shanghai PVG to Paris CDG at a reasonable rate for China. The trip started 24 hours before the actual ticket given the weather in the region at that time.
I tried to upgrade in First by cash but I was denied saying my fare is not entitled...
The day of departure, it was a chaos at check-in since all pax from yesterday's flight were there...
I arrived at 8am and had my boarding pass at noon. Needless to say I could not pick my seat but alas, I can leave Shanghai.
The report will not be made since I was too weak to do so I slept all the way to KUL.
Let's begin..
For your information MH does not fly to CDG anymore.
I arrived quite late from Shanghai
I just had a nice salad knowing I would eat later.
I can't pass up the watermelon...
A glance of the F lounge.
With such a light load in Business and First
Sorry for the lack of English menu.
IFE with enough movies to keep me entertained...
A bit out dated remote.
Ready to push back.
Panel to control your seat.
The signature starter : The famous Satay ! What a delight !!!! I requested another one...
Salmon and shrimp. Nothing to write home about. With only 8 pax
The lamb was perfect. Everything tasted great.
Not too hard to have my meat rare...
With more than 10 hours to go
My orange juice arrived with my first coffee.... I had 8 in the row....
I went for the traditional Nasi Lemak. What a breakfast !!!!

Summary:
I was looking forward to trying MH on a long flight. It did not disappoint. The seat is nowhere near a cutting-edge seat but it's enough for business class seat.
The crew : they are known to provide a stellar service. It was the case on that flight.
The catering : My Lamb and breakfast were just so good.
Thanks for reading.
Thomas
