Prologue:
After enjoying Tokyo, nope, that’s a joke. Barely arrived, I’m on the move to fly back..The goal of a Mileage Run is to spend the minimum while cashing the miles.
At nearly 7pm I leave the plane with my BP in hand for my next flight. I have 2 choices: Take a breath outside but it means clearing immigration.. or go straight to security and transit. Given that I need to board 1h30 later I played a safe bet and just went to security and transit.
Time flies and it’s already time to leave the lounge to board..
Mine can't wait for the 787.
My seat is 9K but since there is a pax beside me I check if both seats in front are free. After 5 min the FA confirms. 13h15 to reach Cairo…
The FA is someone I already met on the plane on the exact same route. She is very smiling.
Let's roll
I pre-ordered a Seafood meal The starter is good but there is no olive oil… Don’t ask me why but I pulled one from my bag taken on my TUN-CAI..
The main course was bland. The proactive FA gave me another meal which was much better.
Starting the draft of this TR.
Fruits to digest.
I'm taking a sleep which ended being a nap.
Very good snack
After that I try to get some rest.
I wake up for the BF.
Weird to eat pasta for breakfast. Lack of sauce. But not that bad.
My breakfast for the next leg where no report will be made.
The nearest lounge is United.. I went straight to shower and relax a bit given the flight ahead of me.
The lounge is quite large and gives the opportunity for great spotting.
However when I arrive the spread is weak. Well I’m not hungry at all.
After the shower...
Still the buffet on the other side..
Great view when there is light.
I quickly go to NH lounge but it’s blind. No windows.. Kinda depressing..
A quick walkaround for a well known lounge for me.
I want the same at home !
Nothing has changed so far.
Cooking on order.

Summary:
A tiring flight given that I slept on the outbound flight. Overall I slept 4h out of 13h30 flight time. The breakfast starts way too early. 1:30 am local time. Landing at 3:30 am does not help as well. The flight should leave 1h later and the breakfast to be served a lit later than 2h prior to landing.
Cabin crew they were a bit tired but one FA met on another flight helped a lot.
The meals are not bad not good. Average. In terms of confort... not the best seat..

A bientôt
A bientôt !
