Prologue:
Here we are, THE day of my avgeek's life. What a better way to celebrate it on a line so mythical as this one???You certainly wonder why I didn't choose a flight in 777 rather than 380 with the old cabins... and quite simply because all the flights equipped with the new La Première cabin were leaving in the morning or early in the afternoon, which involved a very short stay in the lounge and/or without the pre-routing from AMS and the wonderful experience in the VIP Centrum at AMS. And most of all avgeek that I can be this will very first flight on A380.
Finish with the intro, let's start with the flight.

The airplane door opens and magic immediately happens. We are expected by an agent that will take us down a staircase to get to a car.
After a quick ride we arrive in front of THE lounge the one that makes so many avgeek around the world dreaming. Behind those doors there is the PIF that checks that we coming from a secure airport (AMS) before let us enter and unable us not to have any further security checks.
We are finally there. All the Alain DUCASSE staff comes to meet and greet us. The manager tells us not to hesitate to ask for anything we needed during our stay.We really felt special like royalties!!! He tells us that the famous round table has been reserved for us for lunch at our convenience.
Due to high influence at the airport in the Morning the first part of the lougne was busy but the hostess found us a quiet and private place in the second part of the lounge! Perfect...
We are sitted comfortably and even had the lovely surprise of receiving a gilft.
A beautiful luggage tag with written on it : LA PREMIERE
At the same time a refreshment is offered to us.
We will opt for this second beverage.
Cheeeerrrrs and long life to YTR.
Well it's time to go to the spa.
excellent welcome and I chose for a facial care.

It's really great! I go back to our living space. behind the left hand side is the main part of the lounge.
on the right we can find 3 showers.

I take a bottle of water to go back to my space while I am waiting my wife. to return.
time goes by and it is the moment to go for lunch. We join the table that has been reserved for us.

And here it is the famous menu of this lounge!
For starters I choose the signature plate of this lounge the "coquillettes jambon/truffe noire". Just divine.
My wife choose the "croque volaille/comté/truffe noire". Very good too!
A very good wine to drink with.
We continue with the beef tenderloin for Madame.
It's just perfect.
For me it's the "tranche de boudin noir de cochon Ibaïona rissolée" which is very good too!
Served with excellent mashed potatoes
After that we took some cheese.
We have the Maitre D'hotel and all his staff coming towards us with a massive cake Le Palet La première personalised and specially made for us. They all wishing us well for our futur as newly weds and we received a lot of congratulations… We felt again very very special and touched by all the attention and care from the wonderful staff.
We came back to our personnal space to have an espresso
The manager of the lounge came to give us a little present.
And we finished this wonderful lunch with a liquor at the bar.
We can see that the lounge is now empty.

As we got only one life I wanted to test the impact of this red pouch on the employees of the shops and see their behavior

It's still amazing the behavior change of some employees of luxury shops when they see this red card.
It's time to go back to the lounge.
Time flies by too fast… When I came back a hostess informs me that the boarding of my flight will begin soon and asks me when I want to proceed with it. I told her that I want to take full advantage of the lounge :)) She told me that she will come back in 20 minutes. Meanwhile I find my wife who is in the rest space reading magazines. As there were no magazines she wished a hostess goes down to buy them for her.
We are heading towards the elevator one face which is this very beautiful machine. The manager and his staff came to wish us a very good and safe flight.
After a few questions about the use of security agents we climb into our beautiful car.
We're going to the L gates where ou flight is boarding.
Here we are our plane is the F-HPJJ the last 380 delivered to AF.
My accompanist proposes to take a picture of me in front of the plane.

The captain comes to greet me personaly by giving me a lovely gift for my wife and myself a Longchamps and a Le tanneur wallet and two gorgeous La Première's pen….All that in the name of all the A380 crew.
My wife is fascinated by what the captain is telling her….
Got an invite to visit the cockpit.
A welcome drink is given.

Then arrives the main dish Under plate cover.
We'll both choose the beef filet.
Just fabulous meat cooking considering as it is " Plane" cooking….

Madam who did not dare refusing the salad but starting to be full.
Meanwhile I follow with a excellent mix of cheeses.

…. I carry on with the dessert.
Then a very tasty espresso….
To end up with a fantastic Cognac.

Meanwhile my pretty wife whi has said yes to every dish offered is struggling with her desert and her fruit salad.
I finish watching my movie on my screen which is not that small after all considering it is quite close to me.

A bar for First or Business class passengers would have been awesome.

I continue my walk on the main deck with the first Economy cabin just behind the enormous galley of first class.

It's really a very nice space.
the purser offers me to make my bed. a mattress is installed.
with a pillow and a duvet that's realy nice.

When I start my nap we are here.
I play a little bit with the IFE.
When I wake up from my NAP we are here.

The stick sugar is the only "cheap" details of this wonderful and luxurious service….
Accompanied by champagne one of so many!!
After removing my dishes the crew came to us and offered each a present to make this flight even more memorable.

And a very nice watch for me
All accompanied by a very nice card.
Outside the Sun begins to go down.
The night is approaching
We are no longer very far.
We can see NYC.
Manhattan.
everyone is ready for landing
Cabin check: OK!
After a very very long Rolling terminated by a push because JFK has not been prevented to receive such a plane and the space is very tight...
...we arrive at our parking stand!
And then magic happens once again… We are greeted upon our arrival by an airport staff who takes throught via the diplomatic line within two minutes we went through the TSA!
And within 10 minutes after we landed we already got our luggages!
We got explained that the La première passengers got their luggages stocked in separate space with the crew suitcases so that unable the La Première passengers to get their luggages back faster.
Withing 15 minutes of our arrival at the airport we got offered by the entire Air France crew from New York another bottle of champagne with all their congratulations on our wedding and our honey moon to come in the States….
For those who miht be wondering why I got such a special treatment… The answer is very simple… A simple tweet as I was struggling with my trip organisation… I would have never thought that my teweet would have had so much impact on all the events to come… Thank you Air France!!!

Summary:
What more to say that I have been waiting for this moment all my life… After the Birth of my children, my wedding, and so many good times ,memorable moments that I had in my life this fabulous and memorable trip in La Première is Something that I will never forget every moments are engraved in my memory. One of my wish has come true and I feel so blessed to have been able to live it even if it is the only one time maybe that i would have this unbelievable experience in my life!!It's a 10/10 marks, everything was up to my expectations and even more that I dreamed of!!
I am just going to end up this report by saying a big thank you to Air France that did so much to make this dream come true and also all the people who played a part in this. This is it my YTR readers thanks for reading me till the end and I hope you've enjoyed this TR;)

The lounge is just the best in the world. I agree with you for the aircraft but I prefer this wonderfull experience onboard an A380 than a less one on a 777.

From the perspective of an avgeek it can't get better than this and AF F is on top of the game. From your comprehensive report taking us from the lounge to the airplane every minute spent feels like a perfect moment. I can't help but compare your experience to the last time that I flew F which was on JL from CDG-HND. Although that was a perfectly fine trip with great catering also, your trip is the ultimate in perfection with all the details and special touches. The catering is just amazing as expected from the home carrier of a country with such outstanding culinary tradition. What a great way to fly - wait that is SQ line. :P
I was so afraid to be disapointed by one minor details or Something that could have gone wrong in my trip but thanks to Air France everything in every little details was just Simply perfect!!!

Tout au top ! maintenant je vois ce qu'est le service complet, l'upgrade acheté au départ de PEK a quelques inconvénients.
ça fait rêver, JFK, le problème c'est que c'est pas assez loin ! lol
Finalement 40 ans ça a du bon :-) J'attends les miens avec impatience...

Comme tu le dis tout au top! C'est vrai qu'un départ "délocalisé" a certains inconvénients et la prestation au départ de CDG est juste parfaite. C'est vrai que JFK n'est pas assez loin mais c'était le seul moyen de pouvoir profiter pleinement du salon :)))

Excellent choix : davantage de temps au salon et A380.
Pour jouer à la bête à deux dos derrière les rideaux ce sera pour une prochaine fois ;)
Accueil et service exceptionnels aussi bien pendant tout le temps au sol qu'à bord
Petits cadeaux et attentions diverses vont ponctuer ces moments d'exception.
Au sol c'est, je trouve, encore mieux puisqu'il s'agit d'un vrai restaurant.
Vous vous êtes fait plaisir avec ces délicieux plats et vins.
A bord à peine embarqué que des cadeaux arrivent.
Un excellent catering même si il est impossible d'avoir le niveau du restaurant du salon
Ce qui vraiment agréable c'est de voir combien vous avez apprécié tous ces moments
Ce qui est étonnant c'est le nombre de cadeaux reçus tout au long de ce parcours : clairement
AF marque le coup pour rendre ce voyage de noces inoubliable (cadeaux CDB, PNCs et Personnel au sol JFK).

J'aurai trouvé dommage de ne pas pouvoir profiter assez longtemps du salon et de cette prestation unique. En vol c'est parfait aussi même si bien entendu on ne peut pas rivaliser avec la prestation au sol.
Sur ce coup AF a tout mis en œuvre pour que nous passions un moment inoubliable et on peut dire que cela aura été une réussite car il n'y aura pas eu le moindre faux pas.
Tout a juste été parfait!

On a l'impression d'être avec vous au salon et à bord.
Dans cette classe de voyage, Air France mets les petits plats dans les grands et en rajoute avec de nombreuses petites attentions particulières.
C'est tout simplement magique !
As-tu remarqué s'il y avait du monde aux files générales à l'immigration à l'arrivée ?

J'ai moi aussi l'impression de revivre le vol en lisant ce TR et je suis bien content d'avoir réussi à le faire vivre de la même manière aux lecteurs.
Comme tu le dis AF excelle dans cette classe de voyage et c'est juste parfait.
A l'arrivée c'était loin d'être plein à l'immigration mais pour être honnête c'était mon premier passage à JFK et n'ai donc aucune idée de ce que cela représente.
