While my Emerald card is safe until 2019, It's time for me to focus on renewing my Star Alliance Gold card.While I flew in TK twice in September, I'm sharing another journey. The next leg will be done with Egypt Air.

For now It's time to review BA service to Cairo and the CCR Lounge.
I arrived at the entrance and my CCR card was not even looked at to grant me access. The bar is busy.
Whenever I come to that lounge it reminds me my gramma house with a 1980 vintage style .
Few drinks to get drunk ;-) AAflyer I know what's in your mind...

??? Am I in McDonald's ? What bothers me the most is the fact that you can't choose how your meat is cooked. While I understand that point in the First Class Lounge

To be fair I only ate the main. It was very tasty. In fact and it was better than my CCR lunch... go figure.

Summary:
I don't know where to start...The CCR:
As far as I can remember It's by far the worst FC lounge in Europe. The CX Lounge in LHR is much better. The Business Class lounge from VS is better as well. The catering was so-so and that's an understatement. I don't want to be picky here but BA failed to convince me that it's a great lounge.
The fight:
-Crew after take of the purser came to welcome me and that's it.
-Catering : the main was good.
