Prologue:
After such a good rest with The Ritz Carlton, I was on the verge to take 4 trips in a row... Insane? Perhaps...
What a view ! I love Doha !
Driver
Left for Business and Right for First Class.
For an unknown reason it took ages to go through immigration.
Let's enjoy the lounge before boarding.
The usual shot after the entrance.
Quite crowded...
The bar where boozes are back!
No thanks.
my boarding pass
View from the restaurant.
I have decided to check in for my return flight since I only stay few hours in Tunis and leave with the same plane. I was happy to discover that instead of flying an A330 I would get a B787. It's a much better experience.
You can rest in the business department.... Even if I won't feel good leaving my bags unattended.
At 7:30am I slowly made my way to the boarding gate.
Priorities were respected.
You know the seat quite well after my reports.
Since I have the first row
A340-600 heading to Colombo.
Your reporter ;-)
My famous lemon and mint drink. A perfect combo for my taste.
The menu for breakfast does not change a lot but the case for most airlines.
A350 leaving..
Take off.
Honey we should move here!
Can you tell me what is it ?
Formula one ?
My man ! Simon changed the way I do business with my clients and my teams.
Table is set. I told the crew not to give me the usual breakfast breads like croissant or chocolate bread.
Classic Breakfast for me. I like a Greek yogurt with roasted Granola.
Qatari Salmon. I don't know what's Qatari but the "bread/toast" was just inedible.
My bed for the next few hours... I slept like a rock for 4 hours.
View from the bar. I read some rants about the wasted space. I disagree.
The "couple" seats.
Such a detour...
About to land..
Not the kind of plane you see everyday..

Summary:
A pleasant flight with QR.When I was in the immigration the agent told me:
Where are you from ?
Me : Doha
Where are you going to ?
Me : Doha
The guy looked at me with a weird look and told me are you serious ?
Me : Yep
I bet the guy shared the story with his fellow agents.
Thanks for reading !
Thomas
