Prologue:
Welcome to this short report of a CM flight that I took last year. The flight was at night and I had an aisle seat, so I did not have the opportunity to do plane spotting and aerial views but on the next report there will be more of that.There are 3 United Clubs in T3 after security check. This one is hidden in the Mezzanine area across from gate 71A in the mezzanine area. You need to take the elevators to get there.

The lounge is small and there is no natural light and views.

Boarding was orderly and right after take off dinner was served. There was a choice between pasta and beef. I chose cheese raviolis and there was not enough tomato sauce. I had a glass of water and a combination of pineapple/guava juice that only CM carries to accompany the meal.

Summary:
This was an average flight with CM and service was courteous. I think CM is generous to offer a full dinner and snack service on their flights when competitors offer less.All drinks including alcoholic ones are free.

ReplyThat's a very long trip on a 737... red-eye.. While the tray is free, they are a bit stingy. Why no Charcuterie GG won't be happy !

Good luck with this airline. CM doesn't have widebody planes. At least AV has A330's and 787's.
UA included in their marketing and communications that a charcuterie tray would be available as part of its club improvements. I think we know how this tale ends. ;)

The lounge offer is very poor even if there were a (bad) charcuterie tray ;)
More than 7 hours flight time and this is the meal that CM is serving ???

UA Club offers have always been poor. For a very short time I have seen the elusive charcuterie tray but they seem to have disappeared.
Fly a US carrier and see what they give you on a similar flight of the same length. At least i had a choice of a hot meal. Clam chowder with sourdough bread is delicious but I prefer my bread toasted and with butter. :P

Yeah "see-food" diet. All I had was rabbit food at the lounge. :P

Boeing 738 for a 7h flight!!!! The lounge is very poor but onboard it’s not so bad.
