Prologue:
Let's go back to September 2018, I decided to go home to celebrate my 30's birthday.As it's an important number, I thought that I coud celebrate it in advance by booking a business class ticket =)
At that time, Vietnam Airlines was cheaper (2000e for the return tickets) with a stop at Hanoi.
That was my first time on this company (and the first report here) and also first time in A350-900.
That's the part 2 out of 2, for the segment HAN-CDG.
After I arrived at Hanoi I went to the counter-desk for transit. They gave me the invitation for the lounge. Then I needed to wait around 10min for the security guard to open the door to access to the transit.

Let's discover this lounge. I was surprised in a good way by this lounge. I found it design and very cosy nice.

I spent 30min there!!! Very relaxing before a long flight
Solid offer. The offer is diversified with Asian and Western cuisine. It was globally tasty.

ReplyPas mal cette configuration mais elle est commun de nos jours. Merci pour ce TR qui ajoute VN dans la BDD. A plus pour le retour.

ReplyLe salon est bien différent depuis mon dernier passage en 2014. Rien de tel qu'un bon vol en J pour bien démarrer la journée. Merci :)

VN has a comfortable lounge and the food looks decent. I can't get over the heating lamp on the egg rolls. ;) The Vietnamese cold cuts are tempting and is one of the greatest fusion examples of French and Vietnamese cuisine. It's too bad that the use of plastic utensils cheapen the experience.
Onboard the cabin looks nice and it's great to see that the J cabin features direct aisle access for all pax. I think catering could be more elaborate and the amenity kit more upscale but if you found the service to be excellent then that is what made the flight.
Thanks for sharing. I think VN ticket prices tend to be very competitive compared to other airlines.
I appreciated the lounge in Hanoi because it's way better than Shanghai. We also have plastic ustensiles there so I wasn't surprised to get them in Hanoi.
Onboard, I believe the same than you, 1-2-1 configuration is very comfortable. They might upgrade some services, however, I didn't expect a lot before the trip as it was my first time on that company, so I only enjoy every part of the journey!

Ce vol confirme la première très bonne impression du vol précédent.
Le salon a vraiment top.
A bord plus trop de surprise avec la cabine mais tout est d’un bon niveau. Dommage le manque de wifi mais au moins il y a des films
