Prologue:
Mid February, I went back to France for a 2-week business trip. That's a good opportunity to try China Eastern Airlines in J between PVG and CDG.I forgot to take the pictures on the way, so the YTR is only for the return!
Note that on the first way, I had the seat 7L which was really great (in the front of the plane, behind the F cabin).
I arrive at CDG 3h in advance to enjoy the lounge.
Let's start directly with the lounge and its food and beverage offer. No pics about the immigration and security part which are not that interesting.
Design is simple and the lounge wasn't too crowded

I took a seat with window view so i can enjoy it during the flight
I got an orange juice as a welcome drink. Note: I should have asked for a cup of champagne... I will know it for the next time!

Entertainment during the flight: the screen is large and there is a variety of offer (movies TV shows music...) however movies and TV shows are only displayed in English and Chinese. I think there was only 1 movie in French.

Arrived at Pudong I got a personal driver waiting for me in Audi A6L very cosy!

Summary:
Very nice flight with CEA.The J cabin is worth any other companies e.g. AF.
The good points with CEA are:
- 2 baggages for any class
- free WiFi onboard for any class
- free driver for J and F class (one driver per journey)
Between France and China, CEA is a little bit cheaper than AF/KLM. To enjoy the limo service, you should book your tickets on CEA website directly, then contact their hotline. You can get more info by Googling China Eastern limo service.

ReplyMerci pour le TR, je ne savais pas pour la limo. La config en 1-2-1 est pas mal et le plat semble bon.
ReplyDifficile ce vol de par l'horaire qui arrive quand il est minuit en France. Bon courage pour commencer le boulot. Pour moi le meilleur timing c'est un depart a 17-18h. Le vol est long pour dodo et tu arrives un peu plus frais. Merci pour ce TR Antoine.

Sympa ce service à l'arrivée ! Et ça serait un vrai + de le proposer lors de l'achat du billet d'avion. En fonction du prix, il pourrait y avoir quelques clics.
A bord, inhabituellement "courte" l'offre divertissement. Et tournedos un peu trop cuit, peut-être, au vu de la photo.

Pour le service limo, ce n'est pas possible de le proposer par défaut car ça leur coûterait trop cher sinon!
L'offre divertissement est plutôt large mais pas francophone, c'est un choix assumé de China Eastern pour l'instant malgré les nombreuses remontées des passagers français .
De mémoire le tournedos était bon, après c'est possible que mes talents de photographe soient en cause! haha!
