Prologue:
After my flight from Zurich to LA, it was time to fly back to HK.I left from Los Angeles, but I won't report, instead I'm just sharing with you few pics from the flight to Zurich.
I flight left at 8 pm when since I had a early dinner at 5 pm. I was too full to eat anything I slept most of the flight. I however told the crew to save me the dinner for breakfast. A 2 pm local time in Zurich it's better.
I was delighted to leave because I've been away way too long from my wife.

Crusted veal with veggies.
Whipped coffee... I'm greedy.. in case you haven't noticed !
After a quick meeting with a friend in the airport I went back and collected my boarding pass to HK.
Let's climb to the lounge..
The buffet first then the restaurant.
Fondue... Melted cheese...
Fruit with cheese ? No thanks. I only used the middle because it was potatoes.
I boarded at the end and look...
.....One of the best FA I have ever met ! Too bad she is now retired. She was my FA from ZRH to DXB and we both recognized each other !
Table is set.
The balik came but wait a minute... 3 pieces only.. not enough
Lobster... Great.
Duo of meat with lentils and mashed potatoes. I was skeptical about the presentation
IFE has not improved...
Someone is sleeping like a rock !

The failed Chocolate souffl̩ for the look but surprisingly it tasted even better !!! Go figure...
Ready to sleep... for 7 hours.
Breakfast came shorty after I woke up. Too bad they used the tray. Orange and apple juices. Espresso with whipped cream... (I know...)
I ordered two eggs. But they came too well done for what I requested. Never mind.

Soon enough we where close to HK !

Summary:
Swiss confirms that they are great. If I had to rate the First Class in Europe, the rating would be :- Air France
- Swiss
- Lufthansa
- British Airways
I really enjoyed the flight and the FA was the cherry on the cake. It's amazing how can someone can influence the outcome for your flight...
The catering was good but it was not outstanding.
I already shared my view on the seat and IFE.
The lounge is far from what I expect. but the new First Class lounge in ZRH worth the detour. Can;t wait to report it.
