Prologue:
I took a trip to Japan back in 2017 benefiting from several interesting business class fares with Star Alliance from Sofia & One World from Saigon. Malaysia Airlines is an airline I've been following closely since 2014 & the unfortunate events that ensued, I pictured MH as a twin to SQ except that SQ shines more due to great marketing & communication. So I wanted to compare the two. I had already flown them in Y between SIN & HKG via KUL with GG 007 but wanted to see how they fare out in J.I took quick hope to the lounge for a drink but it was nothing to write home about small & crowded

Summary:
Overall I enjoyed my flights with MH. for 650€ it was excellent value for money. The seats are comfortable, the crew is lovely & the food was alright for the most part.The seat in itself has two drawbacks:
- You aren't sitting flush to the window so you need to stretch out to take pictures
- The small footwell for sleeping
I would totally fly MH longhaul again if I found a good deal
