Prologue:
Before I start, I wanted to thanks Thomas for helping me with the booking and the meet-up we had today in Barcelona. It was great to you Thomas!There's not many TR with Avianca and I was really looking forward to trying AV on their new B787.
Let's see if I made the right choice.
The transit from Miami was very smooth. I arrived in the lounge and I was stunned by how unpleasant the lounge is. It's blind

The seat with a 1-2-1 layout.
Champagne to start with mixed nuts.
Nice Selection but I think the screen is too short.
Shrimps to start followed by a well cooked and flavorful fish. My only complain would be it was served on the tray.
Coffee to top off my excellent meal and great service.

Upon boarding I spoke to the the captain and checked with him if I could pay them a visit before landing since I got the inspiration seeing AAflyer pics. He agreed.
What a desk!

Overall a good flight.The lounge is my biggest disappointment. given that BOG in the main hub. Go figure!
