Prologue:

It's my first report and I wanted to make it special with a First Class report.
I'm based in LAX but I'm buying almost all my tickets from Europe to enjoy sweet fares. I used to system wide upgrade to bump myself in First Class.

I bought a ticket to Colombia since we have a business there. I flew from Barcelona to London with BA and then to MIA with AA.

Such a shame, I did not experience the First Class lounge of Cathay Pacific since I rushed to catch my flight.

It's time to start, do you think so?

Despite having my boarding pass printed on BA

I was one of the last pax to board in the cabin. The cabin is full in First with 2 preteens.

The seat can be turned to both a bed and a desk like the previous First Class Cabin

In all honesty

With only 8 seats

The screen could have been bigger. With plenty of movies loaded

2 plugs. Very smart since I was able to charge my laptop and my phone.

I asked the crew if I can pay a visit to the captain

The menu for today. Not bad on the paper. I sent a mail to Thomas asking if I should pick the Classic Bouillabaisse. He told me

Flight time is quite short.

Oh I forgot the wine list.

I started with the soup which was flavorful.

The salad

Next: Crab and avocado salad. Delicious.

The Bouillabaisse was very tasty but since I did not try the one from Marseille

Cheesecake to close a great meal overall.

I had a great nap it was time for a light meal prior to landing.

Bottom line:

I think it was a great use of my system wide upgrades.

I was such in good mood after visiting the cockpit! The were on that leg was excellent. Kudos to them.

Catering : Overall it was great.

While I won't pay for First Class with AA, It was a very good experience.

I'm looking forward to the comment you may have.
